Roles

Curious as to what exactly you could do at NCML? Here is an introduction to the different types of positions we're often recruiting for.

  • Collections Officer

Collections Officers make collection calls on behalf of our clients. They reach out to debtors to negotiate the payment of an outstanding amount. Each officer identifies the best opportunities for recovery within a portfolio of allocated accounts - which could be early or late cycle, consumer, commercial and purchase debt collections. Negotiation skills and a high level of customer service are essential for these roles, as well as assertiveness, attention to detail and confident computer/admin skills.

  • Account Manager

The focus of an Account Manager is to maximise revenue generation and recovery within their allocated portfolio of clients. This involves maintaining continuous client contact, providing appropriate advice and guidance, and implementing client instructions. Knowledge of the commercial legal process is mandatory to be successful in this role.

  • Field Service Officer

Field Service Officers are motivated, trustworthy and tenacious people who undertake visits in person to: serve appropriate legal documents; confirm location of individuals or property; or collect money from debtors on behalf of NCML clients. A current Private Investigations license and Drivers licence are requirements for this role.

  • Skip Tracer

Skip Tracers support the recovery staff as well as external clients by locating fled debtors before litigation, or to commence recovery options. This is a computer-based, research role that requires strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to think "outside the square".

  • Team Leader

A Team Leader manages and motivates their Collections team to maximise revenue, client satisfaction and retention. A Team Leader ensures that collection activities meet contractual and compliance requirements, and also fosters client relationships.

  • Business Development Manager

Our Business Development Managers (BDMs) are responsible for developing new business through successful canvassing, networking and relationship-building with both potential and existing clients.
